the number of pieces at the present time passed and ready

for shipment and if the balance completing the $650,000

required to be shipped by the 27th December would be ready

by that date.

We have not yet received a reply to our enquiry

but expect it daily, but we do not see how the balance of

the present order can be stopped as the silver for it has

already been purchased and delivered to the Birminghan Mint.

We have written to the Government of Hong Kong

to a similar effect.
